The Life and Times of The Cayuse Cowboys

Bringing you “The Songs of the Silver Screen Cowboys”, The Cayuse Cowboys find high spirits and true friendship performing their “Happy Trails” style of music and comedy.

Originally formed for one performance only in 2004, something happened during those 20 minutes that felt too good to be tossed to the wind.  They were quickly captivated by the songs and style of Roy Rogers, Gene Autry and a host of other silver screen cowboys.

Taking their name from Cole Porter’s reference to straddlin’ a ‘cayuse’ in his Western music classic “Don’t Fence Me In”, the trio embraced the wholesome and unbridled fun in songs like “Back in the Saddle”.  The poetic imagery and entrancing melodies of “Tumblin’ Tumbleweeds” and “Cool Water” made the songs of the singing cowboys the bread and butter of their repertoire.

The wholesome act is fun for the whole family.  The Cayuse Cowboys regularly perform at festivals, fairs, summer concerts in the park, barn dances, anniversaries and riding club events.
