The Life and Times of The Cayuse Cowboys

Originally formed for one performance in 2004, something happened during those 20 minutes that felt too good to be tossed to the wind.  They were quickly captivated by the songs and style of Roy Rogers, Gene Autry and a host of other silver screen cowboys.

Taking their name from Cole Porter’s reference to straddlin’ a ‘cayuse’ in his Western classic, “Don’t Fence Me In”, the group embraced the unbridled fun in songs like “Back in the Saddle”,“Tumblin’ Tumbleweeds” and “Cool Water”.

A wholesome act that’s fun for the whole family, the Cayuse Cowboys regularly perform at festivals, fairs, summer concerts in the park, barn dances, and  private parties.
